Renaud de Richter

Engineering School of Chemistry of Montpellier

Dr Renaud de Richter (Engineering school of chemistry, the University of Montpellier, France), graduated from the engineering school of chemistry of Montpellier and obtained his PhD in 1989 on organoborane asymmetric synthesis. After a postdoctoral position at School of Pharmacy of Minneapolis, MN, USA, he worked for a pharmaceutical start up in Paris, then joined the French governmental agency in charge of health products as department manager and then for the French and European Pharmacopoeia. Since 2010 he works with the Engineering School of Chemistry of Montpellier on GHG-removal and atmospheric methane remediation at a climatically significant scale. He served for more than two years as Science Advisor to Methane Action NGO and since two years is Science Advisor for the Climate Intervention Environmental Impact Fund (CIEIF) - www.cieif.org
