Peter Jenkins

Peter has served as the Fund Manager of the Climate Intervention Environmental Impact Fund (CIEIF) (www.cieif.org) for 2 years. For the prior 3 years he was Chair of the Board of Advisors of the U.S. NGO Methane Action (now merged with Spark Climate Solutions, www.sparkclimate.org). He has been an attorney since 1983, working in the U.S. Congress, Federal agencies, and in several environmental NGOs, as well as in private legal and consulting firms. Peter has authored numerous journal articles, book chapters, and reports in various areas of environmental law and policy. He currently is Senior Counsel at Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility. Peter received his law degree from the University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University) School of Law and also a Masters in Environmental Studies from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
