Jeff Overbeek

As Ethos' founding force, Jeff brings extensive aerospace experience to building spaceports on planetary bodies and tackling climate change through planetary sunshade technology. During his 12-year SpaceX tenure, he built multiple Falcon 9 launch sites and established Launch Reliability focused on systems enabling today's rapid launch cadence. His expertise spans operations at Boeing, Firefly, Relativity, and Vast. Jeff's foundation as a US Marine Sergeant (Navy Achievement Medal recipient for environmental cleanup) and aerospace engineer (BS, Cal State Long Beach; Aerospace System Safety and Security Certificate, USC) reinforces his methodical approach to complex challenges. Jeff applies his exceptional operational leadership to accelerate humanity’s expansion beyond Earth, including critical climate solutions at planetary scale for Earth.
